L'Arôme by the sea
Located at Kalim Bay, L’Arôme by the sea features an elegant contemporary design throughout its two distinct areas:
the restaurant level on the second floor with French-inspired cuisine that highlights the finest products and a cosy, modern bar level with both indoor and outdoor dining areas on the rooftop.
Both areas have breathtaking sea views and offer a relaxing venue for a gourmet dinner under the stars, with the relaxing sound of gentle waves crashing on the shore.
Chef Yannick Hollenstein
Our Executive Chef Yannick Hollenstein was part of the Swiss Culinary National Team that won the Expogast Culinary World Cup in 2014. He was Sous Chef of Restaurant Mammertsberg * in Switzerland when it has been awarded with one star in 2015.
The multi-award-winning talent has already gained valuable experience in many Michelin starred restaurants around the world including 3 MICHELIN Stars Andreas Caminada *** in Switzerland and Mathias Dahlgren ** in Sweden.
Now he is ready to indulge you with his creations in L’Arôme by the sea.
Contemporary French Cuisine
At L’Arôme by the sea, Chef Yannick crafts innovative and contemporary French cuisine, incorporating the use of premium imported products combined with the best of local ingredients. Each dish is an ode to an ingredient, such as Hokkaido scallop or Tajima Wagyu. Seasonal ingredients are locally sourced, such as Phuket pineapple, fresh catch of the day or wild-caught blue crab from Krabi.

Catch of the day by our chef
For Yannick, his love for fishing and his career as a chef practically go hand-in-hand. Being a professional chef, the advantage to his catch is, of course, the stunning meal that results after.
At L’Arôme by the sea, we are serving « Bouillabaisse Andaman » - a revised traditional French seafood soup from the south of France seasoned with saffron, Phuket rock lobster and fresh fish caught by our chef himself off the coast of Phuket.

From Paris to Phuket...
Our Paris branch, Fanfan, was rewarded as the recommended restaurant by the prestigious Michelin Guide since the 2020 Edition, the first year that the restaurant was in operation. Our six restaurants in China are also ranked as the most popular restaurants in their respective cities.
We strive to create a dining experience unlike any other. In previous events we combined culinary art and impressionism paintings in an event we called “Impressionism & L'ARÔME.” More recently we invited guests to join us for “Mythology & L'ARÔME,” which took our clients on a gourmet journey with a combination of gustatory, olfactory, and visual experiences.
We are dedicated to developing innovative new visions to combine with the originality of French gastronomy.
